How Do I Test Circuit ID Outbound Fax

The below table will detail the steps required to accomplish your goals:


Login and Select New Email

Log into your email account. From your email account select New Email as shown in Exhibit 1.

Note: The shown screenshot is in Outlook, however you may send a Fax from any email client.

Attach and Send Fax

Now, attach the contents of your Fax to the email as shown in Exhibit 2a. Send the test fax to Fax Toy at 1-855-330-1239 or 1-213-294-2943. Once sent, wait a couple minutes and checkFax Toy for your fax. If your fax appears in Fax Toy as shown in Exhibit 2b, then outbound Faxing is working properly. However, if not, then contact Circuit ID for further assistance.

Note: The public can view the fax so do not add any personal information.

Note: Remember to add the ‘1’ to the fax number or else the Fax will fail.

Note: Only the attachment will be sent as a Fax. Anything written in the body or subject of the email will not be sent.
